How to Download X Videos on Android

Android has no built in X saver. Media Wrangler works in any mobile browser. Paste the public post link, preview title and duration, then download the MP4. Android indexes the file to Gallery automatically.
Step 1: Copy the public X link
In X tap Share then Copy Link. The URL should be
x.com/user/status/123
. Test it in Chrome Incognito without login. If it plays, it is public.
Step 2: Paste and preview
Open Media Wrangler in Chrome, paste the link, tap Preview. Preview shows height options the source provides and is free without an account.
Step 3: Download and locate the file
Choose

. Tap Download. The file saves to
Downloads
and appears in Gallery within seconds via MediaScanner.

Tips
- Avoid APKs: sideloaded downloaders are a malware vector; web is safer.
- Long posts: if the X post has multiple videos, each is a separate public link.
- Private posts: protected or deleted posts will error : ask for a public repost.
