The 7-Day Free Trial includes 3 presentations in total, with up to 10 generated slides per presentation. The slide-count control remains visible but inactive on the free tier and a short promotional slide is added at the end. Paid plans unlock more advanced controls and premium options.
No, you will never be charged automatically. Our "Starter" and "Pro" plans are one-time purchases for a set amount of credits and 1 credit is equivalent to 1 generated slide. Credits last for one year. If you run out, you can buy another pack to refill. If your credits expire, they are not lost. Your next purchase will reactivate any expired credits and add the new ones on top.
Pro users can set a target slide count between 3 and 20 slides and can use premium frameworks and options.
Yes. For the best results with office suite formats like Apple Pages or OpenDocument (.odt), we recommend exporting your document as a PDF or a Microsoft Word (.docx) file first. This can typically be done from the "File > Export" or "File > Save As" menu in your application and ensures your document is in a standard format that SlideCut can process perfectly.
Not always. Privacy extensions, ad blockers and host-page scripts can produce warnings that do not affect SlideCut. If you can still select files and generate slides, you can usually ignore them. If generation fails or the interface freezes, contact support.
Yes. Once generated, the slides are standard Google Slides. You have complete freedom to edit text, move elements and change themes just like any other presentation you create yourself.
Yes. SlideCut has passed Google's rigorous security review and is a verified Google Workspace Add-on. Your document content is processed securely via official Google APIs and is never stored on our servers. We do not see your data.
Yes. Any presentation generated by SlideCut is created directly in your Google Slides account. You have full ownership and can edit, share or delete it just like any other file you own.
