Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Form ReDraft, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, remove the extension and stop using it.

Form ReDraft is free. There is no paid tier, no trial, no feature gate and no account. Nothing on this website or in the extension requires a purchase.

Description of Service

Form ReDraft is a browser extension that records text you type into form fields and rich text editors on pages you visit, stores an encrypted copy on your own device, and offers to restore it when you return to the same field.

The service is provided as-is. Form ReDraft does not upload your text, does not transmit your text and has no access to your text from any server, because there is no server.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for what you do with the extension. In particular:

• Review what you have typed into sensitive fields before sharing a screenshot, an export or your screen.
• Keep your operating system and browser up to date, because Form ReDraft runs inside your browser and inherits its security posture.
• Do not use Form ReDraft to store or retain information you are not permitted to retain.
• Do not attempt to reconfigure Form ReDraft to record fields that it refuses by design, including credential fields.

Form ReDraft is not a password manager, a secure vault or a compliance tool. It refuses to store credentials as a safety measure, and you should not treat it as a place for anything you would not paste into a support ticket.

Intellectual Property

Form ReDraft, including its name, logo, interface and source code, is the property of its author. You may install and use the extension for your own personal or internal business use.

You may read the source code and audit what the extension does. You may not redistribute it as your own product, nor remove attribution from the source.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Form ReDraft is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The extension interacts with pages that Form ReDraft does not control. Sites change their markup without notice, and rich text editors in particular may behave in ways Form ReDraft cannot anticipate. Recovery is offered on a best-effort basis.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of Form ReDraft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and for any loss of data, text, drafts, profits, revenue or goodwill arising from the use of or inability to use the extension.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-Party Sites

Form ReDraft records text on pages operated by other people. Your use of those sites is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not by these terms. Form ReDraft does not control those sites and is not responsible for what they do with the text you type into them.

Donations

Form ReDraft is free. If you choose to donate, the payment is handled by a third-party payment provider and is a voluntary contribution, not a purchase of a licence, a subscription or any right to future features. Donations do not create a support obligation.

Changes to Terms

These terms may change. The effective date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use Form ReDraft after a change means you accept the updated terms.
